This course is designed for current licensed electricians who want to obtain accreditation from the Clean Energy Council (CEC).
Course Outcomes & Pathways
On successful completion of this course, graduates will be issued with a Statement of Attainment of the Units of Competencies achieved.

Entry and selection criteria
Applicants must:
Hold a current unrestricted electrical license or applicants currently undertaking UEE30811 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or its successor will need to have the following Units of Competency already achieved:

- UEECD0016 Document and apply measures to control WHS risks associated with electrotechnology work
And

- UEECD0043 Solve problems in direct current circuits
Or
-
- UEECD0044 Solve problems in multiple path circuits
- UEECD0046 Solve problems in single path circuits
And
-
- UEECD0025 Lay wiring/cabling and terminate accessories for extra-low voltage (ELV) circuits
Or
- UEEEL0023 Terminate cables, cords and accessories for low voltage circuits
- UEEEL0012 Install low voltage wiring, appliances, switchgear and associated accessories

We will validate your original documents you completed on the self-check survey. Credit transfer is also discussed at this point.

Course Delivery Method
The course is run in a blended delivery which encompasses online learning, face to face learning and work performance.
- Face-to-face learning: You will be trained within a classroom/workshop environment, up to 10 students per class, involved with the delivery of the qualification using an online learning management system (LMS) – and textbooks and are expected to interact with the assessor at any given time. Teaching and learning are done at the same time.
- Self-paced Online learning: You will need to supply your own lap top which is wifi enabled for internet access. You will be given a username and password to log onto the online Learning Management System (LMS). On this LMS you are given access to online content and assessments.
- Work performance: Your practical on-the-job skills within the trade are captured and logged into the LMS. You are required to log the work that matches the units you are studying in the course.
